Why we made this
I grew up watching my mother read labels with a magnifying glass, and most of the time she put the box back. The plant-based aisle wasn't kinder. Meal kits weren't either; we just got better at hiding the same long ingredient lists in cleaner fonts.
Conscious Eatz is what I wanted to find on the shelf and never did. Real ingredients, cooked the way I would cook them, frozen the moment they're ready. Nothing on the label that I couldn't explain to a six-year-old.
